After an examiner has finished an examination session, they will send a completed Examiner Fees & Expenses Claim Form giving details of their claim. The claim should also contain any relevant paperwork and receipts relating to the claim. If the examination took place overseas, the examiner should also send an Examiner’s Overseas travel details/costs form.
Before recording any details of the claim on QuickStep, scan through the paperwork to ensure that everything is in order, for example:
- All relevant receipts are enclosed.
- Two session fees forms are enclosed for each session number listed in the top right-hand corner of the claim form.
- Postcode of the venue on the claim form matches that given on the examination request form.
- Almost every claim involves some means of travel to and from the venue – usually by car. Establish the details of the examiner’s journey to and from the venue.
